About This Game

Beneath a black tower that eats the horizon, the world is thinning. The Veil is not night and not weather. It is the membrane between the living road and whatever waits beyond it. When it frays, things leak through: hungers with teeth, old gods wearing borrowed skins, and gold that still remembers who died for it. The Order of the Dusk was founded to walk into that fray so the rest of the realm does not have to.

Its champions are not saints. They are the women the Order dares to send down the Shrouded Road, a pilgrimage that begins at the tower’s shadow and ends only when the road, or the pilgrim, finally breaks. Seraphine turns Rage into armor and swings a greatsword bigger than mercy. Vessaria reaps souls and raises bone wardens from the dust. Nyx answers every problem with knives and a patient poison. Others walk beside them, each with her own covenant with the dark. None of them come back unchanged.

Duskveil is a dark fantasy deckbuilding roguelike where death ends the run, never the collection. Most games lend you a deck and take it back when you die. Here, gold earned on the road buys cards from the Broker’s daily shelf and permanent Forge upgrades that stick forever. A bad pilgrimage still pays. A brutal Veil still leaves you richer than you started. The road can kill you; it cannot rob you.

The Pilgrimage is the Order’s sacred climb: branching paths of fights, elites, merchants, rest sites, and shrines that are usually a trap. Boons mark the dawn of each stretch of road. Omens twist the rules of battle turn by turn. Deeper Veils hit harder and pay more, because the Order does not reward comfort. Carry your own deck in, not a random starter, and walk until something out there ends the run.

The Campaign is the long war the tower demands: boss-crowned gauntlets fought on a single health bar, with Prestige waiting for those who clear the ladder and ask the Order to raise the stakes. Prefer proving your faith against the living? The Arena is live duels on an ELO ladder. Walk away mid-fight and you eat the loss. The circle does not forget who fled.

Between journeys you outfit the Order: cards bought and forged, relics and throwable potions, gear worn into every battle, heroine levels with permanent perks, and a wardrobe of skins they will absolutely wear into the dark.
